August 15, 2015 660 ET Race Results

Hannah Garinger of Exeter Pa kept the winning streak going in the Junior Class in Saturday August 15, 2015 competition.  Garinger defeated Lewis Ink of Barton NY in a double break out final round.  Garinger dialed 8.07, was .614 on the tree running 8.042 at 79.89 mph.  Ink dialed 10.68, was .696 on the tree, running 10.539 at 59.60 mph. In the Semi Finals, Garinger advanced to the final after defeating Abby Hacker of Bainbridge NY.  Garinger dialed 8.07, ran one off her dial going 8.085 at 79.35 mph, .516 reaction time.  Hacker was .615 on tree, running 7.972 at 81.22 mph on her 7.92 dial.  Ink defeated AJ Denmark of Ovid NY.  AJ dialed 12.49, broke out running 12.307 at 49.51 mph, .840 on the tree.  Ink, dialed 10.60, was .621 on the tree running 10.730 at 58.75 on his dial.

Skyview Drags Hosts 5th Annual Chad Wilcox Memorial Bike/Sled Shootout

Skyview Drags and Dote Racing proudly presented the 5th Annual Chad Wilcox Memorial Bike/Sled Shootout on Saturday August 8, 2015. The Shootout brought together racers to compete in the Chad Wilcox Memorial Bike/Sled Race, a 6.50 Index Heads Up Race and the Bike/Sled Sweet 16 to celebrate the life of fellow racer Chad Wilcox. Taking honors in the Chad Wilcox Memorial Bike/Sled Race for the second year in a row was Don Becker.

Former Junior Dragster Champion Randi Teed Brings Home Super Pro Win!

Skyview Drags returned to their regular schedule on Saturday August 2, 2015 with the 660 ET Points Series. A full day of racing was completed with the following winners named in each class: Lewis Ink (Junior Dragster), Randi Teed (Super Pro), Dave Fetterman (Pro), Dick Reome (Bike/Sled), Gary French (Street Money), Shawn Happersberger (Street Trophy), Jason Cable (Mod Trophy) and Joe Patelunas (Gamblers).

Lewis Ink of Barton NY brought home his second win of the season with a win against Hannah Garinger of Exeter Pa. Ink with the better .535 reaction time, beat Garinger to the finish running 10.681 at 58.22 mph on his 10.64 dial. Garinger dialed 8.02, was .585 on the tree, running 8.087 at 79.21 mph. In the Semi Finals, Garinger took out Junior Rookie, AJ Denmark of Ovid NY. Denmark with a 12.20 dial, went .790 on the tree running 12.495 at 48.07 mph. Garinger, the faster car dialed at 7.97, went .651 on the tree, running 8.086 at 76.79 mph. Ink moved into the final round with a bye run in the semis.

July 18 Marks Mid Season at Skyview Drags

Saturday July 18, 2015 brought hot and humid weather for the racers and track officials at Skyview Drags for the Mid Season Points Race. But that didn't stop racers from competing for the top prize in each of the 660 ET Series classes. Memories were made with first time wins for Mel Teed of Friendsville Pa in the Pro Class, former 4 time Pro Champion, Shane Garinger of Exeter Pa, with his first Super Pro win and a runner-up finish for Junior Dragster Rookie, AJ Denmark of Ovid NY.
