Teen Championship Racing!
Teen Championship Racing (TCR) allows teenagers 13 to 17 years old to compete against each other in street legal cars and trucks.
The TCR program is an inexpensive way for families to get involved in drag racing and offers a chance for parents to cultivate a close working relationship with their children.
A Co-Driver will accompany the TCR competitor on all runs to coach the driver and to join in the fun. TCR participants receive an IHRA Competition License, IHRA Rule Book, a one-year subscription to Drag Review magazine, and medical coverage.
All races are conducted over a distance of 1/8th mile with an ET dial-in format. Cars are limited to 10.00 seconds and slower.
TCR drivers may not compete in any other class except Jr. Dragster.

Summit SuperSeries Presented By AMSOIL!
This $240,000 program is the World Championship for IHRA member track sportsman racers. Summit Racing Equipment, the Official Mail Order Company of IHRA, along with AMSOIL, sponsor this revolutionary program for IHRA's thousands of grassroots racers. Providing the base for the Summit SuperSeries are the more than 100 IHRA member tracks in seven IHRA divisions. The competition is populated by Sportsman competitors, or ET Bracket Racers, who are the backbone of grassroots drag racing. The two tiers comprising the Summit SuperSeries are the Summit SuperSeries World Championship presented by AMSOIL and the Summit Team Finals presented by AMSOIL.
SUMMIT SUPERSERIES WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
This program will crown a true Top (Box), Mod (No Box) and Junior Dragster World Champion won by racers at participating IHRA tracks in head-to-head competition each week. Each track will crown a Summit SuperSeries track champion who will then move on to race other track champions at each division's Summit Team Finals competition at the end of the year. Those drivers that emerge victorious from the Summit Team Finals will meet at the IHRA World Finals for the Summit SuperSeries World Championship presented by AMSOIL.
Drivers awarded at annual Skyview Drags banquet and awards ceremony!
Skyview Drags packed The McKinley at the corner of North and Main Streets in Endicott, N.Y. on Saturday for their annual banquet and awards presentation. With a host of awards to be presented in each class, The Daily & Sunday Review Publisher Greg Zyla, alongside Skyview Track Announcer Bob Russell served as Master of Ceremonies.
First on the schedule was the announcement of big news for the 2013 season at Skyview Drags, located on Skyline Drive in Tioga Center, N.Y. Northeast Open Competition will be moving their program to Friday Nights to allow more racers an opportunity to participate. There will also be a new Pro Stick class on the Saturday program, with details yet to come.
The most exciting feature of the night had to be youth who received awards and recognition. The most surprising for those unfamiliar with the excitement offered at Skyview Drags every weekend, from May to October, is the number of women who compete and win. A good example would be the Super Pro winner, Kathy Kiekel of Binghamton, N.Y.
