660 Points season closing fast with a tight competition to the end!

The 660 points event got off with the Precision Crankworks sponsored Junior Dragster class lining 1st & 2nd place points leaders against each other in the final round.  Randi Teed of Friendsville PA wheeled her junior to the winner circle after defeating point’s leader Morgan Burgess of Canton PA. Teed dialed a 7.98 had the advantage on the tree with a .596 reaction time running closer to her dial with a 8.047 ET. Burgess dialed 7.93 went .613 on the tree running a 8.020 ET on her dial.  Hunter Russell of Nichols NY was the soul semi-finalist in his first Semi Final career race after being defeated by Teed. Russell dialed 8.56 went .662 on the tree running a 8.617 ET on his dial. Teed dialed a 7.98 had the better reaction with a .588, running a 8.053 on her dial. Burgess earned her way into the final with a bye run after defeating Aaron Cody from VanEtten NY in the Quarter Finals.

Kathy Kiekel of Binghamton NY backed up her September 1st Super Pro win this weekend after defeating Wesley Cayea in the final round.  Kiekel dialed 6.01 went .538 on the tree running a 6.036 ET. Cayea dialed 5.64 broke out running 5.627 ET, .564 reaction time. In the Semi Final round, Cayea took on Jack Reome of Blodgett Mills NY. Reome dialed 4.75 went .534 on the tree running the dial with a 4.759 ET, but Cayea had the better reaction time with a .529 and turned the win light on after running a 5.638 ET on his 5.63 dial. Kiekel had the bye run into the final round after defeating CJ Drake of Binghamton NY in the Quarter Final round.

In the Pro Class, Ray Thurston III of Towanda PA took home his 3rd Pro win this season on Saturday. Roger Seidel of Conklin NY was the day’s runner-up in his first season final. Seidel left the line first dialed 8.39 going .567 on the tree and running a 8.439 ET on his dial.  Thurston gave chase dialed a 6.85 going .586 on the tree and was able to turn the win light on after running right on his dial with a 6.857 ET. Steve Cross of Friendsville PA tried to take down Thurston in the Semi Final round. Cross, dialed 6.12 went .597 on the tree, but broke out running a 6.119 ET on his dial. Thurston dialed 6.85 had a slight better reaction with a .581 running the number with a 6.858 ET. Seidel defeated Larry Ward of Trumansburg NY. Ward dialed 6.76 went .490 red turning the win light on for Seidel dialed 8.39, .570 on the tree, running a 8.406 ET.

Randy Teed of Friendsville PA went to the winner circle along side his daughter, Junior racer Randi Teed, in the Bike/Sled class. Lynn Major of Tioga Center NY scored another runner-up win on Saturday. Teed dialed 5.90 went .596 on the tree running a 6.169 ET.  Major red lit to Teed with a .475 reaction running a 5.386 ET on his 5.37 dial. Jamie Hitchcock of Horseheads NY lined up against Teed in the Semi Final round.  Teed dialed 5.90 went .614 on the tree running a 6.289 ET, had the better package to Hitchcock’s 6.38 dial 1.076 reaction time running a 6.391 ET. Major moved into the final against Karla Edwards. Major dialed 5.38 went .633 on the tree running a 5.582 ET. Edwards dialed 8.08 went .926 on the tree running a 8.203 ET.

In Street Money Ray Thurston IV of Towanda PA took home the win against Lauren Kawuil. Thurston dialed 8.38 went .586 on the tree, Kawuil dialed 9.36 went .634 on the tree. Both Thurston and Kawuil broke out, but Thurston ran closer with a 8.348 ET to Kawuil 9.288ET.  Ken Bacon of Elmira NY and Michael Ink of Barton NY were the Street Money Semi finalists.

Ken Bacon of Elmira NY defeated Tim Wright of Apalachin NY in the final round of Street Trophy. Bacon dialed 8.58 went .541 on the tree running a 8.610 ET. Wright red lit to Bacon with a .475 reaction time running a 8.058 ET on his 8.04 dial. Semi Final spots went to Mike Dunkle of Millerton PA and the racer driving the K120 car.

Teresa Kurtz of Richford NY earned the win in TCR from Matt Dunkle of Millerton PA. Dunkle went .408 red on the tree running a 11.244 ET on his 11.23 dial.  urtz dialed 10.55 went .655 on the tree running a 10.615 ET on her dial. Cheyenne Davis of Elmira NY was the Semi finalist.
