Residing in Owego, New York, the Brainard team makes the short jaunt to Skyview on weekends, while Alan performs his weekly expertise with the Miller Auto Team. Most recently Alan was part of a full page article on the Best New Car Dealership in a recent 2005 Readers Choice Award, so Alan is no stranger to the spotlight.

Hooked on the sport of drag racing for 6 years now, Alan made the trip to a number of tracks in the area on weekends, but loves Skyview Drags because its a nice, clean and close track to home base. What more can you ask?

Powered by a 355ci Small Block Chevy motor, Alan blisters the rear tires on the Camaro in the burnout box, before launching the blue monster, wheels up to a best E.T. of 6.40 and top speed of 107 mph.

And where is Amy throughout Alan's assaults on the 1/8 mile? At home? Not on your life! She is there acting as his point woman, guiding him back in his tracks for a super start line bite, checking track temperatures or checking his times and race performance like every great team manager does.
