TEAM: Precision Crankworks

From just about day one, the team from Precision Crankworks has been a familiar face at Skyview Drags. " Pilot" Don Kiekel, at the controls of their most recent foray into the drag racing annals, their formidable '32 Bantam bodied Altered, powered by a 532CI Big Block Chevy.

Masterfully wrenched and maintained by the crew of John Novicky out of Vestal Center, NY and Gary Lohsen out of Cincinnatus, NY, the team has cranked out a best E.T. of 5.15 and a speed of 133 mph on Skyview's 1/8 mile track.

Sponsored by K&L Gear, Hellfire Performance Engines and D&J Carburetion, this team runs like a well oiled machine. Don would like to send a special thanks out to the crew for their dedication to the team and to the sport of drag racing. "Hey I couldn't be happier, I love it up here!," boasts Don as he smiles proudly as the team works away to prepare the altered for another onslaught down the 1/8 mile." I appreciate everything George Swansborough has done for us," retorts Don as he climbs into his Bantam and prepares himself to race his rivals.
