T&T Racing - As a new segment to the Skyview Drags web site, we will present a racer's profile. This segment provides you with an overview of racers and racing teams you see at Skyview on a week-to-week basis. For the inaugural kickoff of this segment, we would like to present the team of T&T Racing.

I'm sure you've all seen that familiar 1985 Monte Carlo, as well as the formidable black 1980 Z28 Camaro running the Thompson Grocery banner in the rear window. As well as regular contributors to the Skyview Online forum board. The Thompson Team, consisting of Dave & Mike Thompson, as well as Brent Nichols, has been racing since 1998.

Powered by a 389ci small block Chevy, the '85 Monte Carlo has run a best E.T. of 6.80 and a best of 101 mph. Meanwhile, the awesome black Z28 is powered by a 406ci small block Chevy with a best E.T. of 6.20 and a best of 111 mph. "This track has definitely come along way." says Mike, who also works for Royal Chrysler in Owego. He would like to thank his grandparents Ray & Bea Thompson for all their support in his racing activities. "A nice place to be, and I'm more than happy with what George Swansborough and the team has done here," says Mike as he and the team begin to prepare for another day of racing at IHRA's newest 1/8 mile track in New York State - Skyview Drags.
